1. How Money Moves (Overview)
- Brand pays. The Brand pays the Campaign Fee + 10% Platform Fee + GST through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets or other available methods).
- Funds are held. After payment succeeds, the amount is held through the Payment Partner and our designated account as security for the Campaign. The Campaign is marked “Funded” and the Creator is notified.
- Creator works. The Creator delivers the work and submits proof.
- Brand approves (or is deemed to approve after the 2-day review period).
- Creator is paid. The Creator’s net earnings are credited to the Creator’s in-app wallet after Approval (or deemed Approval), after deduction of TDS and other applicable deductions.
- Creator withdraws. The Creator requests a withdrawal to their verified bank account or UPI ID. The money is transferred within 7 (seven) days of the amount appearing in the wallet.
Funds held for a Campaign are Campaign security funds. They are not a deposit, do not earn interest for any User, and are not used for our own business expenses.
Limits: the Campaign Fee on the Platform must be between ₹1,000 and ₹1,00,000. The same limits apply to withdrawals.
2. Fees
- Platform Fee: 10% of the Campaign Fee, charged only to the Brand. The exact fee is shown before you confirm any Campaign.
- Payment gateway charges: charged by Razorpay at its standard rates. These are non-refundable, except where the law or the Payment Partner returns them.
- GST: 18% (or the rate applicable by law) on the Platform Fee, shown in the tax invoice we issue (GSTIN: 24AFNFS7501L1ZM).
- We may change fees for future Campaigns with notice. Fees for a funded Campaign do not change.
3. Taxes
3.1 PAN is mandatory for Creators. Creators must provide a valid, operative PAN that matches their name and details on the Platform before any payout. We verify PANs through authorised services.
3.2 PAN verification process.
- The Creator uploads a clear image or PDF of their PAN card and enters the PAN.
- We verify the PAN through authorised government, NSDL or UTIITSL APIs, or through third-party KYC providers.
- We check that (a) the PAN exists and is valid; (b) the name on the PAN matches the name registered on the Platform (or the registered business name); (c) the PAN is operative (linked to Aadhaar where required); and (d) the PAN is not marked inactive or cancelled.
- If verification fails, or the PAN is inoperative or mismatched, the payout is held and a higher TDS rate (as per current law) may apply until it is corrected. Creators must keep their PAN details up to date; any change requires re-verification.
3.3 TDS. We deduct tax at source from Creator payouts as required by the income-tax laws in force, at the rate and under the section applicable to the payment and the Creator’s status. Where the PAN is missing, invalid, inoperative or not linked to Aadhaar where required, a higher rate may apply or the payout may be held. The deducted tax is deposited with the Government and reflected in Form 26AS / the Annual Information Statement. We issue a TDS certificate in the prescribed form and within the prescribed timeline, and the Creator can claim credit for it in their income-tax return.
3.4 GST for Creators. If a Creator is registered under GST (or is required to be), the Creator must provide a valid GSTIN and issue valid tax invoices. Creators are responsible for their own GST registration, charges and returns. Where the law requires us to raise an invoice on the Creator’s behalf or to apply reverse charge, we will do so.
3.5 Brand taxes and GST invoices. Brands are responsible for their own tax treatment, including claiming input tax credit on our invoices, and must provide accurate GSTIN and billing details. We issue GST invoices to Brands for the Platform Fee + GST under GSTIN 24AFNFS7501L1ZM. We cannot correct invoices after the filing period closes, except as the law allows.
3.6 Reporting. We may report transactions, PAN and payout data to the Income-tax Department, GST authorities and other authorities as required by law.
3.7 No tax advice. Nothing on the Platform is tax or legal advice. Users should consult their own chartered accountant.
4. Creator Payouts
4.1 Eligibility. A payout is released only if (a) the Campaign is approved or deemed approved; (b) there is no open dispute on that Campaign; (c) the Creator’s KYC, PAN and bank or UPI details are verified and match; and (d) there is no legal hold, chargeback, fraud flag or regulatory restriction.
4.2 Timeline. Earnings become available in the Creator’s wallet on or immediately after Approval or deemed Approval, and the Creator may then request a withdrawal. Bank or UPI credit occurs within 7 (seven) days of the amount appearing in the wallet. If a payout is delayed because of incorrect details, failed bank transfers, bank holidays or Payment Partner downtime, the timeline is extended by the period of the delay.
4.3 Withdrawal. The Creator may withdraw the available balance to a verified bank account or UPI ID in the Creator’s own name (or the registered business name). The minimum withdrawal is ₹1,000 and the maximum single withdrawal is ₹1,00,000. Withdrawals to third-party accounts are not allowed. Payouts are made in Indian rupees only.
4.4 Failed or wrong transfers. If a transfer fails because of wrong details, we will return the amount to the wallet, and the Creator may retry after correcting the details. We are not liable for any loss caused by incorrect details supplied by the Creator. If we credit an amount by mistake, we may reverse it and recover it from future payouts.
4.5 Unclaimed balances. If a Creator does not complete verification or withdraw the available balance for 12 months, we will send reminders and then handle the balance as required by law.
4.6 Set-off. We may deduct from a Creator’s payout any amounts the Creator owes us or a Brand under a final dispute decision, or amounts reversed by a chargeback.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy (Brands)
5.1 Refund summary. The table below summarises the refund position.
| Situation | Refund to Brand |
|---|---|
| The Brand cancels before any Creator accepts, or before the Creator starts work | Full refund of the Campaign Fee + Platform Fee (gateway charges may not be refunded) |
| The Creator cancels, or does not deliver by the deadline (plus extension) | Full refund of the Campaign Fee and the Platform Fee, or the Brand may choose to re-open the Campaign for another Creator |
| The Creator delivers, but the work does not match the agreed brief and the Creator does not correct it after the revision rounds | Decided through the dispute process: full, partial or no refund, depending on the evidence |
| The Brand rejects work without valid reasons, or does not respond within the 2-day review period | No refund. Deemed approval applies and the Creator is paid |
| The Creator deletes the post before the agreed live period ends | Partial or full refund in proportion to the unfulfilled period, through the dispute process |
| The Brand changes its mind, or the product launch is delayed, after the work is done | No refund |
| Campaign results (views, sales, followers, engagement) are lower than hoped | No refund, unless a minimum performance was written into the brief and accepted by the Creator |
5.2 Refund method and time. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. After approval, it normally takes 5–7 business days for the refund to reach your account, depending on your bank. We do not refund in cash or to a different account.
5.3 Failed payments. If money is debited but the Campaign is not funded, the amount is automatically reversed by the bank or Payment Partner, usually within 5–7 business days. If it is not, contact support with the transaction ID.
5.4 Wallet-credit option. With the Brand’s consent, a refund may be given as Platform wallet credit for use on future Campaigns.
6. Return Policy
The Platform sells services and digital work, not physical goods, so there are no product returns. Where a Brand sends physical products or samples to a Creator, returns, damage, loss and shipping are governed by the Campaign brief and the agreement between the Brand and the Creator. We are not responsible for the logistics, quality or condition of Brand products.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a Brand disputes a payment with its bank (a chargeback) instead of using our dispute process, we may pause the connected Creator payout, submit evidence to the Payment Partner, and recover the chargeback amount plus any penalties from the Brand’s account or future payments. If a chargeback is decided against us after the Creator has been paid, we may recover the amount from the Creator’s future payouts or by other lawful means. Misuse of chargebacks may lead to suspension.
8. Holds, Fraud and Compliance
We may place a hold on, delay or reverse payments, and ask for more documents, if we suspect fraud, money laundering, identity mismatch, sanctions or legal issues; if a court, tax authority, the police or the Payment Partner so directs; or if a User breaches our Terms. We will tell the User the reason unless the law prevents us from doing so.
9. Payment Partner
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited or another RBI-authorised payment aggregator. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment processing. We are not responsible for failures of the Payment Partner, banks, UPI networks or card networks, but we will help you follow up.
